Bengal cats are trainable, smart, athletic, fun to watch and play with, loyal, and love water - all great traits for a family pet. They're also vocal and communicative and social with people. If they're introduced early on to dogs or other cats in the home, they are able to bond well and socialize. While many people consider the Bengal to be a wild cat that only pretends to be domesticated, the breed is actually very sweet and loving. The Bengal attaches closely to her people and is a loyal friend. As a medium-sized, athletic cat, the Bengal needs to run, jump, and romp to be contented.
